Small Business Institute

The Small Business Institute was created to support small business owners juggling inventory control, payroll, legal requirements, personnel, marketing and more. This series of workshops will provide practical, up-to-date information and resources on a wide variety of topics.  Courses are led by Chamber member representatives who are experts in fields such as human resources, accounting or marketing. 

Social media is a great tool for attracting new employees as well as showing current employees they are appreciated for a job well done. We’ll discuss various social media platforms and ways to determine which is best for you to actively engage to attract and retain employees, content ideas to post to get engagement from followers, and ideas for developing and scheduling content. Computers will be provided, but participants may also bring their own laptops to class.
