The Youth Career Expo connects students with local careers, training programs, and real world opportunities right here in the Menomonie area. This engaging experience helps students explore career paths, ask questions, and see how classroom learning connects to future goals. Schools are invited to bring students for a meaningful, hands on introduction to careers, education, and the local workforce.

The Youth Career Expo supports schools by providing a structured, engaging environment where students can explore possibilities and start thinking about their future plans. Participation helps students make informed decisions while strengthening connections between education, business, and the community.

Additional Student Benefits
Tour the University of Wisconsin-Stout followed by a complimentary lunch
This visit will require an additional two hours. Schools must attend the Youth Career Expo in order to tour UW-Stout.
2026 Menomonie Chamber Scholarship Application
To qualify for this $1,000 scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll at Chippewa Valley Technical College or the University of Wisconsin-Stout beginning in the fall of 2025. Additionally, the applicant or their parent, guardian, or grandparent must be employed by a business that is a current member of the Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center at the time of application submission.
